DocMail enables the archiving and retrieval of email messages and attachments in Documentum's content repository. It works with Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and a number of other email clients because it is standards based. Policies and information lifecycles can be applied to email and attachments moved to the Documentum repository.
DocMail is a server-based solution, requiring only configuration settings to be made on the client side. The interface remains the existing email client.
