Documentum consulting and support
Our
client, a major Systems Integration company, had won a significant
project from a Government Department to develop an application to
record license information relating to a particular line of
employment. It was essential that the ECM platform on which the
solution be developed should be robust and for this reason the
technology selected was from Documentum. Further requirements were
that the ECM application must interface with a CRM system, a print
centre (e.g. to print templated letters, application forms), a scanning
centre, and a company that created the plastic licence.
Aptus
was selected as sub-contractor to the SI company, to provide advice and
guidance to the project team, to design the application, participate in
development of the system and provide on-site level three support.
The
application, which was completed on-time and within budget, records and
processes license applications and issues licences to authorised UK
operatives.
